Im not sure ive posted this in the right place so please feel free to move as appropriate
Ive recently been thinking about what I carry on my person when i go for a walk on an evening or a weekend. I dont usually carry my survival tin on my person (I know I really should) it lives in my pack.
To me the Survival tin (great as it is) isnt really the most effiecient design for a walkers survival kit especially to keep on your person in a pocket, it may get relegated to your pack as mine has.
This then got me onto the Altoids tin, im struggling to source the tin atm but i intend on making a more pocket sized fit.
But then i started thinking about the 4 key parts to survival.
Protection, Location, Water, Food (if im wrong please feel free to correct me)
Sorry if this post seems odd im just trying to lay out my thought process clearly.
So then i remember reading a sticky on BCUK about a cuppa tea and this got me thinking further.
A basic survival kit in a metal mug (note the post i made earlier about enamelware)
