OUR VENUES

Yorkshire

  • This is our star venue - it is near Ripon in North Yorkshire
  • For public transport: If you can get to Harrogate (direct train from London) then it is a short bus ride to Ripon from where you can get a taxi, walk or even get the instructor to pick you up.
  • It is set on Ministry of Defence property in a private fenced off woodland. It has the best selection of natural resources and the most space to explore out of all our venues.
  • Normally we have the place to ourselves but sometimes the army are running training activities. This adds to the survival atmosphere!
  • There is no water on site – your instructor will bring containers of water
  • Parking is on site and close to the area used. The tracks are firm and well maintained. Occasional mud
  • There are toilets on site

 

Hampshire

  • Set in private grounds near Bordon this delightful woodland has plenty of resources and space for courses. You may occasionally see the site owners walking their dogs.
  • There is a mains water pipe for refills.
  • Parking is on a grass field and there may be some mud on the arrival track.
  • There are no toilets on site. An area to pee will be designated and a hole dug for bigger offerings.

 

Surrey Urban:

  • Set near the village of Cranleigh in quiet working farm.
  • There is a mains water pipe for refills
  • Parking is near the entrance on-site and is usually free from mud
  • There are no toilets on site. An area to pee will be designated and a hole dug for bigger offerings.

 

Surrey Woodland

  • Set in the Whiteley Village retirement complex this woodland has huge trees and is very private. You may occasionally see residents out for a walk.
  • There is a mains water pipe for refills.
  • Parking is in a carpark on site
  • There are no toilets on site. An area to pee will be designated and a hole dug for bigger offerings.

 

Staffordshire

  • Set at Beaudesert Scout and Activity camp. We work in a quiet part of the woods out of the way from main activities. There may be young people walking to and from activities.
  • There is a mains water pipe for refills and sinks for washing. Hot water, soap and showers available
  • There are toilet blocks on site
  • Parking is in a well maintained car park on site

 

North Wales

  • Set on a private, working, but quiet farm in a beautiful part of North Wales close to Ruthin
  • There is a mains water pipe for refills
  • There is a toilet on site
  • Parking is near a farm track

 

Gloucestershire

  • Set on a scout camp, we will have a private glen to ourselves.
  • There is a mains water tap and sink
  • There are toilets and sinks
  • There is a carpark with well maintained roads. It takes 10 minutes to walk from the carpark to the site

 

Devon

  • Set on the beach near Ringemore, Devon
  • Water will be brought by your instructor
  • There are no toilets on site. An area to pee will be designated and a hole dug for bigger offerings. Do not bury wet-wipes.
  • Parking is in a National Trust car park about half a mile from the venue

Course Bookings

Cancellations must be made in writing and
the following refunds will be available: If you cancel up to six weeks before
your booking, you will be given a full refund including any deposit. If you
cancel between six and two weeks before your booking, you be given a 50% refund
and/or lose your deposit. If you cancel less than two weeks before your
booking, you will not be eligible for a refund and you will be liable for the
full cost of your booking, should you not have previously paid. Where payment
is taken over the phone or online you have 14 days to change your mind and
receive a full refund, unless your activity has already started.
